My car is in dire need of repair and I need the car to get to work. I can take public transportation in the meantime, but sometimes I need to travel to a different office location and need my car to do so. To pay for these repairs I need to cut back on some monthly expenses. I plan to scale back my cable package, switch to a lower internet service, cut back on going out to eat and shopping and I plan to sell mobile for cash. Selling my mobile phone is a no-brainer as I don’t need a fancy phone anyway. It’s a newer model so I think someone will want to buy it. I may also sell some of my clothes and furniture to pay for these repairs. I have some money in savings, but I really don’t want to touch that as I may need it in case there’s a real emergency. Luckily, I haven’t had to travel lately and I can rent a car if necessary, but I don’t want to pay for those costs either.
